Coachella 2009 Review w/ Pics and Video...(part 1)

Wow What a weekend.. Friday... Highlights... Buraka Som Sistema...WOW..  

they are amazing.. even dropped a bit of dubstep (TC where's my money)

They got the entire crowd to get down on their knees for a massive jump...so much fun

Then there was The Bug and Warrior Queen..  

hmm...I dunno how to proceed on this one..honestly they just didn't seem polished...Warrior Queen is an awesome and powerful lyricist..but the bug just didn't seem into it..  

and as a fellow dubstepper pointed out...it's track/effect/fade out/track/effect/fade out...

(this was after she rolled around on the ground screaming "I'm insane"...and slightly after masterbating and humping the speaker)

 

...lol...over all..it was the most interesting performance of the weekend..  

the art there this year was awesome..I was a fan of the giant robot hand that picked up cars/cruished them, then gave devil horns/thumbs up motion..  

We caught some morrisey..and he's still doing his thing..great to see his full setup  

It was a trip to see the subtle disses to Amy Winhouse for cancelling there was this art-cart

 

as well as MIA singing "They wanted me to go to the grammys and I said no no no"  

also..it would appear prince's epic appearence wasn't forgotten  

The dance tent was cracking as always..

 

I have to say Girl Talk was RAMPACKED later on in the night..and Steve Aoki really did rip it up I got more..but I should get back to work...so here's part 1 of my detailed review..
